Fat Grafting to the Face

Fat grafting to the face can be utilised either alone or in combination with a facelift to rejuvenate the face.

Fat is harvested from the abdomen or other areas and, following processing, injected into a number of areas around the face to restore volume and recreate a more youthful contour and appearance. It can also improve the quality and tone of the overlying skin and fill out facial lines.

Common areas treated include reshaping the mid-face and cheek, restoring or increasing lip volume, filling the lines between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds), around the chin and the corners of the mouth.

It is performed under a general anaesthetic usually with a stay overnight.
